2019台北寶藏巖光節主題「野景」

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The theme for this year’s Treasure Hill Light Festival at Treasure Hill Artist Village (寶藏巖國際藝術村) is “A Land of Happiness” (野景) and features 14 major installation artworks.
The annual event was first launched in 2012 and explores contemporary social issues. This year’s edition runs from March 30 to May 5, with 14 art groups providing large-scale installations that explore the difficulties encountered on the road to civilization.
The curator, Lee I-hua (李依樺), said the showcased artists have created fascinating and wild landscapes. They added their imaginations provide a glimpse into the paradox and primal qualities of modern society.
The noted Spanish artist Olga Diego (奧爾加.蒂亞戈) has created a plastic landscape and electronic installation that highlights her concerns for the natural environment. The Japanese artist Kentaro Taki (瀧健太郎), meanwhile, presents his interpretation of contemporary society abducted by technology.
In addition to the exhibition, there will also be music performances, a market, film screenings and other activities. The musical line-up includes Ko Kowen (柯智棠) and Bisiugroup (美秀集團).
