美國旅客在機場面臨更多的安全問題
Passengers should be prepared for questions at the check-in desk and boarding room.
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – The Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) announced on Tuesday that starting October 26, U.S.-bound passengers will face security questions from airline companies when checking in and boarding at the airport.
The CAA reminded passengers to arrive at the check-in desk as well as boarding room in advance in case of delay.
There is no knowing how the questioning will be conducted, and the CAA said if there is any question regarding the new measure, passengers should contact airline companies for further information.
It is part of the agreement with the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the fight against terrorism, according to the CAA.
Earlier the CAA implemented another measure on July 17 based on the same agreement, which requires passengers flying to the U.S.to take out electronic devices larger than a mobile phone from their carry-on for a separate check at the screening line.
