台灣於新加坡旅展展示全天候觀光魅力
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Tourism Administration set up a Taiwan Pavilion at Singapore’s largest outbound travel fair, NATAS Holidays 2026.
The administration sent a delegation to Singapore for the fair, which ran from Friday to Sunday, per CNA. The pavilion was themed “Taiwan Never Sleeps” and highlighted Taiwanese breakfast culture, coffee culture, rural experiences, performing arts, and urban attractions.
Shih Chih-chung (施志忠), director of the Tourism Administration’s Singapore office, said one of the highlights was an immersive exhibit inspired by the premium Alishan tourist train. Visitors could experience the varied mountain scenery of the Alishan Forest Railway and appreciate the appeal of slow travel, Shih said.
Shih said Taiwan would continue promoting diverse, in-depth, and sustainability-oriented travel products to attract international visitors.
According to Tourism Administration statistics, 208,741 Singaporeans visited Taiwan in the first six months of the year, a 1.19% increase from the same period last year. The agency said Taiwan remained popular among Singaporean travelers because of convenient flight connections, visa-free entry, ease of communication, public safety, and diverse natural and cultural attractions.
