Taiwan fire dancer advances to Britain’s Got Talent final

台灣火舞表演者晉級英國達人秀決賽

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwanese fire dancer Yang Li-wei (楊立微) advanced directly to the “Britain’s Got Talent” final on Sunday after receiving the show’s “Golden Buzzer” from judge and YouTuber KSI.

Yang, a member of the Coming True Fire Group, first appeared on the British talent competition in February. During her latest performance, she began by spinning a flaming umbrella with her legs before escalating the act with a giant metal frame engulfed in flames, which she also rotated using her legs, per CNA.

The high-intensity performance drew thunderous applause from both the audience and judges. Judge Simon Cowell praised Yang as a “superstar,” while KSI reacted with amazement before pressing the Golden Buzzer, automatically advancing her to the final.

Following the performance, the Coming True Fire Group shared its excitement on Facebook, thanking supporters and reflecting on the troupe’s long journey. “The Golden Buzzer is the highest honor in talent shows,” the group wrote. “Twenty-three years of hard work have turned into a golden light.”
