TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — China Airlines is bringing a dash of whimsy to air travel with its second Pokemon-themed aircraft.

The plane is scheduled to begin service April 2 on routes from Taoyuan to Tokyo and Seattle. The pastel-colored fuselage is a moving canvas, featuring 13 Pokemon characters, according to China Airlines.

From Hoppip to Flying Pikachu and Jumpluff, the lineup dazzles. Dratini rides Dragonite, and Beautifly and Vivillon flutter by, a nod to Taiwan’s nickname, “the butterfly kingdom.”

Design details nod to Taiwan’s charm. Floral tiles and clouds inspired by traditional motifs mingle with hidden Pokemon, complementing the airline’s signature plum blossom tail fin.

Passengers onboard will also enjoy Pokemon-themed touches inside the cabin, from tray liners to pillowcases. Collectible Pikachu pens and sticky notes are also available.

China Airlines plans to expand the “Pikachu CI2” experience to other routes, including Phoenix, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland, Osaka, and Bangkok.
