Thai influencers spotlight Taiwan’s hidden gems in new tourism push
泰國網紅聚焦台灣鮮為人知的寶藏景點,帶動台灣旅遊熱潮
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Tourism Administration held an event in Bangkok on Friday promoting its “Taiwan 100 Ways” campaign.
The event featured videos of four Thai influencers traveling around Taiwan. The influencers visited several cities and counties, exploring destinations and experiences less familiar to Thai tourists, according to CNA.
They visited six locations: Taipei, Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, Chiayi, and Kaohsiung.
Chen Yi-ting (陳憶婷), director of the Tourism Administration’s Bangkok office, said she hoped the influencers’ firsthand experiences would showcase Taiwan’s diverse destinations.
“Each video represents a brand-new Taiwan travel route and an invitation,” she said. “We invite every Thai traveler to come to Taiwan and create their own ‘Taiwan 100 Ways,’ sparking a new wave of tourism.”
The Bangkok office said it has partnered with travel platform Klook, as well as China Airlines, EVA Air, and Starlux Airlines, to create Taiwan travel packages.
