台灣怡利電子(E-Lead Electronic)在2026年國際消費性電子展(CES 2026)上展示無人機
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Changhua-based E-Lead Electronic is showcasing its drone and UAV engine parts, along with automotive products and components, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, CNA reported.
The four-day event, running through Friday, highlights developments in AI technology, Internet of Things, automotive technology, virtual reality, robotics, sports tech, and healthcare. CES has over 4,500 exhibitors this year, including 57 Taiwanese startups led by the National Science and Technology Council.
E-Lead is showcasing its augmented reality head-up display that projects navigation, vehicle speed, and driver assistance information in 3D virtual images. The company is also exhibiting components for two-wheel vehicles, agricultural machinery, yachts, and drones, along with engine parts manufactured by Tong Yah Electronic Technology, a company E-Lead acquired in December for NT$1.16 billion (US$36.3 million).
One of the key highlights is E-Lead’s drone technology, designed to be mounted on trucks to improve driver visibility. These drones help eliminate blind spots around the vehicle, enhancing safety. Additionally, E-Lead has integrated UAVs with car rooftop platforms and developed flight control software that allows the drones to take off and land autonomously.
E-Lead said that its acquisition of Tong Yah has facilitated the integration of drone hardware and software, while also strengthening its automotive development capabilities. The company added that its drone integration with car rooftop platforms has the potential to be applied to military vehicles.
E-Lead Chair Chen Hsi-hsun (陳錫勳) noted the company has developed drones weighing less than 250 grams, featuring a tether line that allows the drone to be pulled back in case of operational malfunction. This type of UAV is also mainly used to enhance driver visibility.
Lastly, the company is displaying vehicle body control modules, sensors, and remote controllers, which are based on licensed technology from Tier 1 suppliers of Chinese automakers. These products are manufactured at E-Lead's facilities in Taiwan and Thailand to meet the China-free supply chain requirements of certain partners.
