雲林與台北東吳大學合作建立智慧創新AI學習中心
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Yunlin County and Taipei's Soochow University on Thursday agreed to build a new artificial intelligence learning center to help schools use data tools and improve teaching.
CNA reported the partnership will draw on the university’s strengths in artificial intelligence and tech teaching to build a stronger system for digital learning. The county's Magistrate Chang Li-shan (張麗善) said the partnership will provide students with a more comprehensive tech learning platform.
Soochow University President Jan Chyan-long (詹乾隆) said the university's Big Data Management School has spent a decade accumulating experience in data analysis. Jan said the university hopes to apply that expertise to Yunlin’s smart-education efforts.
The president noted that Soochow University is working with Nvidia on projects that link artificial intelligence with the humanities. He added the university is also using tools to train students for research tied to TSMC.
Jan said the university will keep growing its work in artificial intelligence, education, and healthcare. He said the school hopes to partner with Yunlin County to build a stronger smart-learning environment.
