台灣桃園國際機場被英國提供旅遊相關服務公司評為全球最友善機場

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport has been ranked the world’s friendliest airport by UK travel service provider Airport Parking & Hotels, earning top marks in reviews of its staff.

APH analyzed more than 71,000 Google reviews mentioning airport staff between May 20 and the end of August, covering 100 of the world’s busiest airports and 23 of the busiest in the UK, per CNA. The study focused on 52 positive keywords related to employees, such as “friendly,” “patient,” “polite,” and “professional.”

Taoyuan Airport took the top spot with 73.6% of passengers providing positive feedback. Travelers most frequently described staff as “friendly” (129 reviews), “helpful” (106), and “efficient” (42).

Cornwall Newquay Airport ranked second with 73.3%, while Narita International Airport placed third at 73.1%. Other Asian airports in the top 10 included South Korea’s Jeju International Airport (8th) and Dubai International Airport (9th).

The company pointed out that Taoyuan Airport flies to 101 destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Dallas, Jakarta, and Seoul. “With dedicated spaces for children to play and even a gym and e-sports area, passengers travelling through this airport won’t be short on ways to keep themselves entertained while waiting for their flight,” said APH.

Taoyuan Airport said the recognition reflects the efforts of 35,000 staff from companies and government organizations. In recent years, Taoyuan has upgraded smart technology and improved collaboration between departments, enhancing infrastructure and service quality.

Examples include streamlined security checks, faster baggage handling, and more diverse waiting experiences. By year-end, the north boarding concourse of the new Terminal 3 is set to open.
