日本學生完成台師大(NTNU)半導體課程

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Twenty-eight Japanese students recently completed a two-week intensive program on semiconductors and artificial intelligence at National Taiwan Normal University.

The participants, from Kumamoto University and Prefectural University of Kumamoto, were not semiconductor majors but joined out of personal interest, NTNU said. The program was co-taught by professors from NTNU’s College of Science and College of Technology and Engineering, covering semiconductor fundamentals, integrated circuit design, and Artificial Intelligence of Things applications.

Taiwanese students also took part in the all-English course. Shiromoto Keisuke, director of Kumamoto University’s School of Informatics, said interacting with Taiwanese students enhanced technical knowledge while enriching cross-cultural exchange.

NTNU said it has expanded summer study opportunities since last year, enabling students to take extra courses during the break without paying credit fees.
