Tipsy buffet Urban Paradise opens at Dream Plaza

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Feastogether Corporation has launched its newest all-you-can-eat bar and restaurant brand, Urban Paradise, at Dream Plaza in Taipei's Xinyi District.

Feastogether Corporation General Manager Chen I-hang (陳毅航) announced that the debut of Urban Paradise brings the group's total store count to 91. He projected the corporation would surpass the 100-store mark by the end of this year, signaling strong growth.

Chen said the group's 2024 revenue reached approximately NT$10.56 billion (US$350 million). This year’s projections are even higher, with estimates ranging from NT$11 billion to NT$12 billion. Looking ahead, he said the corporation has set an ambitious revenue target of NT$20 billion and hopes for general managers and senior employees to earn NT$2 million annually.

Urban Paradise is designed to offer a “light luxury,” tipsy, boutique-style buffet experience. Chen said the concept emerged from observing market demand for upscale, alcohol-enhanced dining.

Tracing the origins of buffet culture to 14th-century Scandinavia, Chen said the format embodies freedom, joy, and abundance. Urban Paradise aims to elevate that experience with premium bar and restaurant elements in an all-you-can-eat setting.

Located in Dream Plaza, Urban Paradise benefits from a prime location in one of Taipei’s most vibrant commercial districts. The interior design blends chic, urban, and laid-back elements for a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere.

The buffet features nine themed dining zones and more than 200 dishes, ranging from fresh seafood and Spanish tapas to Asian fusion stir-fries. Recommended items include scallop waffles, spicy hot pot, and chargrilled Vindaloo pork ribs.

Alcohol is integrated not only into the drink offerings but also into the food itself. Sake lees baked oysters showcase the delicate taste of sake lees, while desserts include spirited twists like the "First Day of 18" yuzu beer-based ice cream and a melon liqueur-infused sundae created in collaboration with Ninao Gelato.
