Bluerider ART 在台北微風廣場開設“維納斯的慾望聖殿”

Contemporary art exhibition runs through Aug. 31

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Bluerider ART has opened a new cross-disciplinary exhibition, “Venus Temple of Desire,” at Taipei’s Breeze Center, showcasing contemporary works by international artists in a high-profile department store setting.

The exhibition, which runs through Aug. 31, transforms the retail space into a hybrid art environment. A Formula 4 racing car has been installed at the center of the exhibition, symbolizing themes of speed, power, and aesthetic desire.

Held during Breeze Center’s “Breeze Night,” the launch was attended by Breeze Group CEO Michelle Bridgette Liao (廖曉喬), Bluerider ART founder Elsa Wang (王薇薇), and Swiss artist Thierry Feuz.

Participating artists include MARCK (Switzerland), known for his signature video installations embedded in sculptural forms; Desire Obtain Cherish (USA), who satirizes consumerism through candy-colored pop art; and Willi Siber (Germany), whose reflective sculptures reimagine classical ornamentation. Thierry Feuz (Switzerland) contributes vividly colorful abstract works, while Carol Prusa (USA) presents intricate silverpoint drawings inspired by cosmology and science.

Other featured artists are Susanne Kühn (Germany), whose figurative paintings with cartoonish strokes incorporate surrealism; Kari Anne Helleberg Bahri (Norway), who explores body and gender through textile art; and Isabella Kohlhuber (Austria), who manipulates linguistic symbols into three-dimensional conceptual works.

Bluerider ART said the exhibition aims to explore the relationship between art, luxury, and technology in a commercial setting and invites the public to consider new intersections of desire and expression in contemporary visual culture.
