Ride-sharing company to feature charging station map service next year

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Line Go leader Lin Chun-sheng (林群盛) announced Tuesday its ride-sharing app surpassed 4.3 million users.

Lin at a media briefing said the company has seen a fivefold increase in trips and orders, per CNA. The green energy carbon reduction fleet, launched in October, has already met its goal of 5,000 vehicles, he added.

Lin said the company will feature an electric vehicle charging station map and charter services next year, bringing app offerings to seven.

Line Go explained that its offerings include taxis, airport pick-up, and car rentals, per UDN. In November, it introduced driver-for-hire services.

The company noted that with the easing of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and a nearly 700% annual increase in air passengers, the airport pickup feature meets travelers’ transportation needs. Airport transfer trips have grown fivefold compared to last year.
