Yulon celebrates one year anniversary with family-friendly events
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Yulon’s Yes!Life Mall in New Taipei has attracted over 10 million visitors and generated more than NT$5 billion (US$156 million) in revenue since its opening on Sept. 28, 2023.
Yulon, one of Taiwan’s major automakers, said the mall has become a major player in Xindian District, boosting the consumer potential of the greater Xindian area, per UDN. The presence of the largest Eslite branch in Asia and Xindian’s first IMAX VieShow Cinema has attracted many visitors, it added.
Additionally, the company announced family-friendly events from Sept. 27-Oct. 31, including a Paper Windmill Theater event and concerts, per a press release.
In a recent investor conference, Yulon said Yes!Life Mall’s rental income could reach NT$400 million in 2024, per CNA. The daily foot traffic is about 20,000 to 25,000 people on weekdays, increasing to 40,000 to 45,000 on weekends.
The target for total visitors this year is between 8.5 and nine million, with even higher numbers for 2025, the company said.
